Taylor’s Concrete Cutting uses A-LOK “G3″ boot system for all of our manhole boot installation. It is a flexible pipe to manhole connector for sanitary or stormwater systems. Manufactured by A-LOK Products, Inc. of Tullytown, Pa., the G3 boot system meets or exceeds requirements of ASTM C-923. The G3 boot system can withstand 15 degrees of omnidirectional deflection and 1/2” of centerline offset while still maintaining a watertight connection. The inner O-ring design of the G3 connector eliminates rubber wrinkling and compensates for pipe irregularity and wall thickness to ensure a watertight seal.
Boot Installation Includes:
- Recommend the right size boot for the application
- Core drill the manhole with the correct size hole for the boot
- Install boot and torque clamps to manufacturer’s recommendation
